Author Profile:
Dr. Cheryl Hall-Russell
Cheryl Hall-Russell, Ed.D., has spent more than 25 years sitting across the table from leaders. Many are excellent at their jobs but sometimes get in their own way. She knows that table from both sides — as an executive coach and consultant, and as a former nonprofit CEO who led complex organizations through the kind of challenges this book addresses. That dual perspective shapes everything she teaches.
She is the founder & Chief Cultural Consultant of BW3 Culture, an organizational culture consulting firm. This book sits at the intersection of lived experience and rigorous scholarship. Cheryl's doctoral research examined how leaders navigate identity, authority, and growth and their patterns of resilience that keep them in the game. She also paid special attention to those leading at the intersection of marginalized identities. She lives and works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and works nationally and internationally.
